Our Roots

Our signature version of the kraut burger began right here in Windsor, Colorado, at a beloved little shop once called Robin’s Nest at House of Windsor. As a local ice cream and soda shop, we were a joyful gathering place where families came together to share laughs over their favorite treats.

Before long, our regulars started asking for something more. The requests for us to offer kraut burgers became so frequent that we simply had to find a way to add them to the menu. That is how the “Netzel Burgers” were born. We proudly named each unique burger after a member of our family, and they quickly became our absolute best-selling items.

Though we unfortunately had to close our doors in late 2018, the community never forgot them. For years, we continued to receive constant requests from loyal customers missing their favorite comfort food. That ongoing love from our community sparked a brand-new dream— the food truck you see today.
